Kata Kuchi Chawan—Kata meaning “side” and Kuchi meaning “spout”—is a beautiful fusion of form and function.

The asymmetric spout offers effortless pouring, making it ideal for pouring and sharing matcha.

This is my first exploration into raku clay, a sandy texture that brings a unique character to this latest collection. The inherent grit of the raku clay creates a rugged surface, which interacts with the glaze in a mesmerizing way, misting the classic blue into a deep, smoky veil.
